Currently, Kristin is the chief information officer at Capilano University , where she is responsible for the delivery of business-enabling technology services as well as setting the University’s strategic technology and digital direction.
Kristin’s professional portfolio includes extensive local government and private sector experience, such as the mining and manufacturing industries. She has a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Victoria, a Bachelor's in Computer Information Systems from the University of the Fraser Valley, as well as ITIL and COBIT5 certifications.
Director, IT, College of the Rockies
Jonathan has been the director of IT services at College of the Rockies since 2006.The College's IT services team provides service to seven campuses spread across six rural communities in the East Kootenay region. Striving to achieve its goal of "providing the most personalized student experience in Canada", Jonathan consults with stakeholders to set the technological direction of the college and put strategic plans into motion.
Jonathan has been an active member of BCNET for several years and is also a member of other provincial groups. Hailing from St. John’s Newfoundland and Labrador, Jonathan brings a unique perspective to BCNET gatherings. As the returning emcee to the BCNET CONNECT Tech Summit, he is looking forward to re-connecting with colleagues and making new acquaintances.
