We are actively seeking content and workshop proposals for BCNET CONNECT, the Higher Education & Research Tech Summit. We invite content from staff, faculty and students at our member institutions. Your participation will help create an interesting, engaging, and innovative program for your peers.
The programming is driven by our diverse member community made up of colleges, institutes and research universities. All speakers will receive a complimentary 3-day summit pass. Check out our conference session archives for sessions from past events.

March 9, 2020: CONNECT Program Committee reviews 2020 proposals
March 11, 2020: Applicants notified of acceptance
March 18, 2020: Deadline for applicants to confirm acceptance

5 Technology Tracks and Learning Paths
Your opportunities for learning and sharing are organized into 5 Technology Tracks
The BCNET CONNECT Summit Program Committee have recommended programming and content ideas within each track to help guide you in developing your speaking proposal. Be sure to visit each technology track for content suggestion details.
Proposal Evaluation Criteria
The BCNET CONNECT Summit Program Committee will evaluate all session proposals based on the following criteria:
- Quality of written proposal
- Relevancy to our conference, attendees and track themes
- Value / Innovation / original problem solving
- Ability to inspire action and/or outcome for users
